Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 1 c. (2 sticks) Parkay
  • 2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 qt. popped corn
  • Pinch cream of tartar

Preparation

Step 1

Bring Parkay, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 3 minutes. Remove from fire; stir in 1 teaspoon soda and a pinch of cream of tartar. Pour over popped corn and bake for 1 hour in 200 degree oven.
