Marsala Veal

Ingredients

  • 600 / 1 1/3 lb veal fillet, cut into strips (1 x 3 cm/1/3 x 1 in),
  • 400 g/14 oz fresh pasta,
  • 20 g/1 tablespoon plain flour,
  • 150 g/5 oz white onions,
  • 3 ActiFry spoons virgin olive oil,
  • 300 ml/10 fl oz veal stock (or gravy base),
  • 50 ml/1 1/2 fl oz Marsala,
  • A handful chopped parsley,
  • Salt, pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Put the veal in a bowl, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle lightly with flour. Put in the ActiFry, pour in the oil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove and keep warm in a covered dish.

Chop the onions and brown. Add the veal stock and the Marsala. Cook for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and add the parsley.

Put the veal on a serving dish, cover with the onions and top with the sauce. Serve with fresh pasta.
