Baked Acorn Squash with Brown Sugar

Ingredients

  • 2 acorn squash
  • 1 1/3 C. brown sugar
  • 4 T. butter
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Split squash in half & remove seeds.
2. Season inside of squash with nutmeg,
cinnamon, salt & pepper.
3. Pack each squash with 1/3 C. brown sugar, & top with 1 T. butter.
4. Wrap in foil & bake in a pre-heated 350 degree for 45 min. to an hour.
