Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Cocoa
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 2 tsp. Vinegar
  • 2/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
  • Dash of Salt
  • 6 oz. Pkg. Miniature Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Step 1

To prepare cupcakes combine all dry ingredients. Add water, vinegar, oil, and vanilla and mix well. Pour into greased cupcake tins, filling each 1/2 full. To prepare filling beat together sugar and egg. Add cream cheese and salt and mix well. When smooth fold in chocolate chips. Drop one heaping teaspoon of filling mixture on top of batter in each cupcake tin. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
