Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed (or you can cook up some chicken pieces if you don't have leftover chicken)
- 2 tablespoons margarine, orbutter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 large onion, sliced (about 1c.)
- 2 tablespoons paprika, or more to your liking
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 can chicken broth, (14 1/2 oz.)
- 1 cup sour cream, light or reduced fat fine
Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions till soft in butter.
add flour and make a roux in a skillet with butter and flour and the onions. Cook not more than a minute or so- You want a light roux not dark. Stir or whisk in Chicken Broth, Cook till bubbly and lightly thickened. Stir in Paprika and Season to taste. Add in Cooked chicken and heat through.
