Roast Artichokes, Green Asparagus and Smoked Bacon

Ingredients

  • 8 artichokes,
  • 1 ActiFry spoon extra virgin olive oil,
  • 75 g/2 1/2 oz smoked bacon,
  • 1 can green asparagus,
  • Fine sea salt

Preparation

Step 1

Trim the artichokes, removing the leaves and the choke to keep just the heart. Cut into four. Pour the oil into the ActiFry and heat for about 4 minutes.

Cut the bacon into a small dice and add to the oil. Brown for about 3 minutes.

Add the other ingredients in the following order: artichokes followed by green asparagus tips. Season. Cook for about 8 minutes.
