Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
cream butter and sugar; add 2 teaspoons water and vanilla; mix well. Blend in flour and nuts; chill 4 hours. Shape into fingers. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325~degrees about 20 minutes. Remove from pan; roll in powdered sugar. (If freezing don't roll in powdered sugar until thawed and ready to serve.) makes 3 dozen fingers
