  • 1/2 Cup Shortening
  • 3 Cups Sugar
  • 6 Eggs
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 tsp. Lemon Extract

Step 1

Cream together butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, alternating with milk. Stir in vanilla and lemon extracts. Spoon into greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
