Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar firmly packed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Step 1
Place first four things in sauce pan. Bring slowly to rolling boil, while stirring. Boil to soft ball, remove from heat & beat until lukewarm. Add vanilla and nuts, stir.
