PECAN CRISPIES

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 well beaten eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together shortening, butter, and sugar; add eggs beat well. Add dry ingredients and nuts. Drop from teaspoon, about two inches apart, onto greased cookie sheet. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
