Ingredients
- 4 cups sliced apples, peeled
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter
Preparation
Step 1
Mound Apples in buttered 9-inch pie plate; sprinkle with orange juice; Combine sugar, flour and spices, and dash salt; cut in butter till mixture is crumbly; sprinkle over Apples. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or till apples are tender and topping is crisp. Serve warm with cream.
Serving Ideas : Baked tomatoes, Stuffed baked Potatoes & Special Hamburger
NOTES : Can use 1 pound 2 ounce can pie sliced apples drained for fresh apples.
