Scalloped potatoes

Easy microwave potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Microwave butter in 2 quart casserole dish. Mix in flour, salt, dry mustard and pepper. Blend in milk and microwave on high 5-7 min or until thick.
Mix in potatoes, cover and microwave at high for 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring 2 or 3 times.

Au gratin potatoes:
Add 3/4 to 1 cup grated cheese to saauce. stir until metled.
