Classic Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients

  • 8 clices bacon, crips-cooked and crumbled
  • 1 C shredded swiss
  • 1 baked 9" pie shell
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/4 C milk or half-and-half
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375.

Sprinkle bacon and cheese into pie shell. In mixing bowl, beat together eggs, milk and seasonings. Pour over bacon and cheese. Bake about 40 minutes until knife comes out clean.

Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
