  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbs. basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 lb can tomatoes
  • 2 6oz tomato paste
  • 10 oz noddles
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbs. parsley
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 lb mozarella

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat slowly, spoon off fat. Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes.

Beat eggs, add remaining ingredients except mozzarella.

Layer half noodles, half ricotta mixture, half meat sauce, half mozzarella and repeat.

Bake @ 375 for 30 minutes or refrigerate and bake for 45 minutes.
