Ingredients

  • PREHEAT oven.
  • ARRANGE in 9x9 pan 3 cups cut up fresh peaches, raspberries, blueberries,
  • strawberries, or cherries.
  • SPRINKLE with mixture of 2/3 cup sugar (1 cup for cherries), 2 T. flour,
  • and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon.
  • MIX together in bowl 1 cup flour, 2 T. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder,
  • 1/2 tsp. salt.
  • ADD 1/3 cup oil, 3 T. milk, and 1 egg.
  • STIR with a fork until thoroughly blended.
  • DROP by spoonfuls over the fruit.

BAKE until light brown and dough is done through.
SERVE warm with ice cream.
