Ingredients
- 1 lb. extra lean ground beef, (93% lean)
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup chili sauce, or catsup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 6 hamburger buns, low calorie
Preparation
Step 1
In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef and onion until brown; drain. Add garlic salt, pepper, chili sauce, brown sugar, white vinegar, mustard and tomato sauce. Cool and freeze if you aremaking this ahead for a later meal.
To prepare for serving, thaw hamburger sauce and bunss. Heat sauce until bubbly, and serve on warm buns.
