Ingredients
- 3/4 pound of shrimp or more if you like shrimp (whatever comes in a frozen bag already peeled is best portion)
- 3 cups diced fresh tomatoes of your choice (canned diced tomatoes work if you are in a hurry)
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup fresh basil chopped
- fresh refrigerated linguini (not from a box)
- 3 cloves of chopped garlic
- olive oil

Preparation
Step 1
Start cooking linguini according to package directions.
Turn burner to medium heat, pour 2-3 tablespoons olive oil into large skillet, add chopped garlic and saute a few minutes, add basil for a few more minutes, add tomatoes for a few minutes then add shrimp once pan is all juicy from the tomatoes.
Heat till shrimp turn pink. Once shrimp start to turn pink they are done. If your pan has a lid, that will steam the shrimp quickly. The longer you cook them the more likely you are to over cook.
Drain linguini and add to plates then top with shrimp mixture. Add a fresh grated cheese to provide even more flavor.
