Family Goulash

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 lb. extra lean ground beef, (93% lean)
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 4 ounces mushroom pieces
  • 14 1/2 ounces tomatoes, canned
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cook noodles according to package directions. While noodles cook, cook and stir ground beef and onion in large skillet until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.

Stir in drained noodles, celery, catsup, mushrooms (with liquid) tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 30 to 45 minutes.
