Beef & Noodles Au Gratin

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. extra lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 20 ounces crushed canned tomatoes
  • 5 ounces egg noodles uncooked, cooked and drained
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 3/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ounces shredded low-fat cheese, (3/4 cup)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large skillet cook beef onion and garlic over medium heat until cooked through; drain.

Stir in tomatoes, noodles, oregano salt, and pepper. Spoon into a 2 quart casserole baking dish; Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake covered until heated through and cheese is melted, 20 to 30 minutes.
