Ingredients
- cheese dip:
- 1 lb velveta cheese
- 1 can rotel
- 1/3 cup milk
- taco meat:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 packages taco seasoning
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tsps cumin
- Remaining ingredents:
- 2 cans refried beans
- 1 large bag nacho doritos
- 12 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- salsa and sour cream for serving
Preparation
Step 1
Cut velveta cheese into cubes and put into non stick pot on low heat. Add rotel and milk, stirring frequently until melted and combined.
Meanwhile, brown ground beef and drain. Add seasonings and taco seasoning mix and prepare according to directions.
Then, empty cans of refried beans into mixing bowl and add 1 can of water. Mix together until thinned out.
Empty half bag of doritos in bottom of baking dish.
Cover with half of the refried beans, half of the taco meat, then 3 ladles of cheese dip. Repeat. Cover with shredded cheddar cheese.
Reserve remaining cheese dip for later
Put into a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
Serve with Salsa and Sour cream
