Ingredients
- 1 large head of red cabbage, washed and coarsely sliced
- 6 tart apples, cored and quartered
- 2 medium onions coarsely chopped
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 cups of hot water
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 2/3 cup cider vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place all the ingredients into a crock pot. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours, or high for 3 hours.
2. Stir well befor serving
