Ingredients

  • 3 pounds pinkito beans
  • 2 small ham hocks
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 3 T Gebhardts Chili Powder
  • Salt & Pepper to your taste

Preparation

Step 1

Wash beans thoroughly and let soak overnight. While beans and ham hocks are boiling, chop onion and garlic not too fine. Brown in skillet with vegetable oil, then add chili powder and tomato sauce and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.

When beans are half done, add sauce, salt and pepper and continue to boil until done.

Cook approximately 3hours, will feed approximately 20 people.
