Maple Hazelnuts

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp fresh nutmeg (use a food rasp)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • **you might want to put a pit of zest in**

Preparation

Step 1

1) soak nuts for 6+ hours, rinse & drain
2) combine all ingredients in mixing-bowl, fold-in nuts
3) spread evenly on a dehydrator sheet and dehydrate for 8 - 10 hours.
