- My mother-in-law is on a gluten free diet, so when she comes to town I’m always on the hunt for new recipes that we can all enjoy. I wanted to make rice krispie treats, but was out of butter… so I found this recipe and it’s a keeper for sure!!!
- 1 cup creamy or smooth peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 cups rice krispie cereal
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Step 1
Directions:
In a saucepan melt peanut butter and honey together, do not bring to a boil. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and rice krispie cereal. Pour mixture into a 8×8 square pan and press mixture down. Add chocolate chips, let them melt a bit, then smooth them over the top, delicious!
