- 1/4 cup plus two tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, divided
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 2 tablespoon Butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Real Vanilla
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar

Preparation
Step 1
In an 8x11 baking dish; whisk together the flour, sugar, two tablespoons of the cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Pour in the cup of milk, melted butter and vanilla. Stir until combined, be sure to get the corners.
In a small bowl, combine the 1/4 cup cocoa powder with 3/4 cup dark brown sugar with a fork. Break up any large clumps and sprinkle it over the top of the batter. DO NOT STIR.
Pour 1 cup of coffee {I used instant coffee granules with a cup of boiling water} over top of the brown sugar/cocoa. DO NOT STIR.
Carefully place the baking dish into a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 40 minutes, rotating the pan half way through baking time.
Let cool for 20 minutes before serving.
Serve slightly warm with a scoop of your favorite ice cream.
