OLD WORLD MEATBALLS AND RICE

Ingredients

  • Mixture for meatballs:
  • 3 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup cooked rice (cooled)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped
  • Additional ingredients:
  • 2 cups additional cooked rice
  • 3 tblsp. Olive oil
  • 1 tsp. fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. mustard powder
  • 3 (10 oz) cans condensed tomato soup
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 medium head cabbage, cut into 16ths

Preparation

Step 1

Directions:
1.Make the meatballs. Set aside.

2.Place the inner pot in the cooker. Press the CHICKEN/MEAT button and hit the time adjustment button to reach 20 min. (20 min high pressure). Add olive oil and allow it to heat up for about a minute, then add meatballs. Add all the additional ingredients to the inner pot.

3.Place the lid on the cooker, lock the lid and switch the pressure release valve to CLOSED.
