Portobello-Marsala Sauce

Serve w/ Peppered Beef Tenderloin under Holidays or pork tenderloin medallions under main dishes

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs evoo
  • 1 (8oz) pkg sliced baby portobello mushrooms
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large shallots, diced
  • 2 c Marsala wine
  • 1 c chicken broth
  • 2 tbs butter

Preparation

Step 1

In sauce pan saute mushrooms in evoo until browned and tender, about 10 minutes.
Add butter, garlic and onions, saute 5 minutes, Stir in Marsala and chicken broth. Bring to boil and cook 20 minutes or until reduced by 2/3s
