Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 3 tbsp veg oil
  • 1 c (14oz) pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 c cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ground beef with salt and ginger in a med size bowl, shape into 16 balls, beat eggs.ightly with water in a pie plate, dip balls into egg mixture then into flour to coat well.

Brown oil

Drain syrup from pineapple into 1 c measure add water to make 1 c. Stir into drippings in pan.mix brow sugar, cornstarch,vinegar and soy sauce in1 c measure. Stir into pineapple mixture

Cook stirring constantly until sauce thickens and bubbles.

Arrange meatballs, pineapple chunks and pepper strips in pan, stir each gently to coat with sauce cover simmer 10 min serve w/ hot noodles
