Company's Coming Egg Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. seasoned croutons
  • 1 teaspoon onion flakes (or dried onions)
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 6 oz. Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 6 oz. sharp cheddar, sliced
  • 8 oz. diced ham
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1-1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle croutons in a greased 9 X 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with onin and lemon pepper. Layer Swiss cheese, cheddar cheese and ham over the croutons. Beat eggs with half and half and milk, dry mustard and salt in a large bowl. Pour over layers. Chill, covered, overnight. Remove covering and bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes prior to serving.
