Rice Dressing Mix

Ingredients

  • 1 Deboned broasted chicken
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 can Campbell's Fat free chicken gravy
  • 1 can Campbell's Fat Free Beef gravy
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 4 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/3 bunch of parsley, chopped
  • 4 green onion stems, chopped
  • salt, black/red pepper and Tony's seasoning to taste
  • Water as needed

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef and drain all grease. Stir in all chopped up seasonings and saute with ground beef, stirring frequently. Sprinkle Tony's. Looks like a lot of seasonings but its not. Take my word for it, its what makes this so good. Add a little water if needed to saute, NOT OIL? When seasonings are ender, stir in gravies, chicken broth and chicken. Let simmer to "marry" flavors together keeping it saucy, (About 10 minutes), do not let gravy get too thick, add water as needed. Take note of picture I posted...soupy... Taste and season as desired. Cook rice in rice cooker with 1 can of chicken broth and water to level needed. Add a little Kitchen Bouquet to it to give it a brown tint and salt if desires, then set to cook. After rice is cooked, stir into mix and it's done. Can freeze extra mix and add rice when you defrost it. I cook and freeze all the time. Dressing is moist and delicious. Fool proof.
