  • 2 1/2 c macaroni, uncooked
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • 2 1/2 c milk
  • 2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375°. Grease 2 quart casserole dish.

Cook pasta according to package direction; drain. In saucepan, over low heat, melt butter. Blend in flour, salt, pepper, and paprika; gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.

Add cheese; stir until cheese is melted.

Place hot pasta in prepared dish; stir in hot sauce. Bake 30 min or until lightly browned.
