Ingredients

    pkg. active dry yeast

  • 1

    tsp. salt

  • 3

    T. sugar

  • 2

    T. warm water

  • 1

    T. baking powdered

  • 5

    cups flour

  • 2

    cups milk

  • 1

    tsp. baking soda

  • 3/4

    cup shortening

Directions

Dissolve yeast in water. Mix with milk, sugar, and salt. Set aside. Mix Nancy flour, baking powder and baking soda together. Cut in shortening and add liquid mixture. Mix lightly – do not knead. Refrigerate over night. Use as much as needed. Remainder may be stored in refrigerator for up to 5 days. Knead dough, roll and cut, do not allow biscuits to rise. 450 for 10 minutes Coleen Kanner
