Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp chili paste
- 1/4 cup huckleberries
- Oil, for frying
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, chili paste, and huckleberries in a blender. Puree until smooth. Pour into saucepan and heat until sauce reduces slightly. Set aside.
Rinse and pat dry the chicken. Heat oil in a deep pot to 375 F. Fry wings in batches for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oil and place on paper-towel lined plate. Transfer to the saucepan and toss with sauce.
Serve hot or cold.
