Ziploc Omelet

Ingredients

  • 2 large or extra large eggs
  • Choice of ingredients: cheese, ham, bacon, onion, green pepper, salsa, mushrooms, etc.
  • Quart size FREEZER bag

Preparation

Step 1

Crack two eggs into bag and squeeze bag to mix eggs;

Add ingredients choices into bag with a bit of salt and pepper; seal bag and remove air from the bag. If more than one omelet is being prepared write names on the bags.

Shake bag to mix ingredients.

Place bag into a pot of boiling water for about 25 minutes. (you can put about 6 bags in one pot of boiling water)

Remove bag from pot,open bag/or cut with scissors and omelet will roll out easily onto a plate.

Serve with toast and fresh fruit.

NOTE: these can be prepared the night before, so all you need to do is boil the water, cook, enjoy, and best of all no clean up!
