Caveman Short Ribs

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless beef short ribs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 sm onion
  • 2 cups red wine
  • 5 whole peppercorns
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tbs fresh ginger
  • 1 qt water or beef stock
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees

2. Salt and pepper short ribs

3. Sear in hot pan

4. Deglaze with wine and add water, tomato paste and remaining ingredients

5. Cover with lid and bake at 275 degrees for 4 hours or until desired tenderness if reached.
