  • 2 Cups Pretzels, broken or crushed
  • 1 Stick Butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 Cups Sugar, divided
  • 8 oz. Pkg. Cream Cheese
  • 12 oz. Container Whipped Topping
  • 1 (6 oz.) Pkg. Strawberry Gelatin
  • 1 Cup Boiling Water
  • 1 Pint Fresh Strawberries



Step 1

In a large bowl, mix crushed pretzels with butter and 1/2 cup sugar. Pour into an ungreased 9" x 13" baking dish; press along the bottom to form crust. Bake for 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove and let cool. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese with 1 cup sugar; blend well, then fold in whipped topping. Layer mixture over cooled pretzel crust; set aside. In a separate bowl, mix Jello with boiling water per instructions. Add strawberries. Let cool until slightly thickened (but not congealed), then layer over cream cheese mixture. Chill until Jello sets (approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Yield: 8-10 servings.
