Pan Seared Steak

Ingredients

  • l thick cut of steak
  • Butter
  • Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation

Step 1

With kosher salt, salt a steak well and let sit overnight or at least one hour

Brush a cast ilron skillet with oil. Brown steak on both sides and edges. When steak is almost done, add several pats of butter and a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce.

Baste steak with sauce. Let rest for 5-10 minutes.

Fore rare - 115 on meat thermometer.
