My Mom got this recipe from one of her friends a very long time ago. We have made them ever since, especially for holidays.

Ingredients
- 1/2 Lb. butter, softened
- 2 Cups flour
- 1 Cup vanilla ice cream (measure while frozen, will melt to less than one cup)
- Fillings: Solo brand, prune, apricot, strawberry, raspberry
Preparation
Step 1
This recipe works best in a food processor. If you do mix by hand, mix flour and butter together first, then add ice cream.
Put flour in processor, add butter and process, then ice cream. Form into 1” balls and put on cookie sheet. Flatten with buttered, floured glass. Make indentations in center with thumb and add filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar.
