Ingredients
- Cake:
- 2 large oranges
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g almond meal
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 6 eggs
- Syrup:
- 1/2 C orange juice
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1 C water
Preparation
Step 1
Microwave oranges peelings pips and all (covered in water) for 10 minutes. Allow to cool. Blend with other cake ingredients.
Grease cake tin, bake approximately 50 minutes in moderate (350 F?) oven.
Mix syrup ingredients, boil to reduce. Pour onto cool cake.
