Ingredients
- Sauce
- 1 cup coarsely chopped onion
- 1 tsp ready mixed garlic or 2 cloves chopped
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/4 cup molasses ( recipe says not blackstrap )
- 1 1/2 tbs cider vinegar
- 1 tbs light brown sugar or dark
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- Baby back ribs ( 4 racks
Preparation
Step 1
1/ preheat oven to 350 rack in lower third of oven
2/ Stir tog all sauce ingredients Bring to boil moderate heat : reduce heat and cover simmer for 15 mins
3/ Puree until smooth in blender
4/ marinate ribs overnight
5/ Cover pan in foil: Place ribs in pan
cover with foil: pour marinade over ribs
5/ bake 1 hour: remove foil bake 45
mins: last 15 mins on bar-b-que
