Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 can chopped tomatoes (400g)
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 can butterbeans (400g, other beans are ok too!)
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp hot chilli powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 beef stock cube
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 pinches salt (to taste)

Preparation
Step 1
Slowly brown the beef mince
Drain any excess fat and set the mince aside
Heat the olive oil in the same pan the beef was browned
Soften the onion and garlic in the olive oil
Add the beef mince back into the pan and add the spices and crumble in the stock cube
Add the chopped tomatoes and water
Simmer over a medium heat until the sauce has reduced then add the beans
Continue to cook for another 5 minutes until the beans have been heated
Serve on a bed of white rice
