Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 1 cup AP Flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chopped Fuji or Gala apple
- oil for frying
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tbs milk, more if needed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, cinnamon. Stir in milk and egg until combined. Fold in chopped apple.
Pour oil in large skillet or soup pot, two inched deep. Heat oil to 375. Oil is ready when small fritter dough floats to top. Carefully add dough in heaping tablespoons.
Cook until brown, about two minutes. Flip and cook another two minutes until both sides are golden brown. Transfer to paper toweled rack to cool. then transfer to rack.
Make glaze by adding powdered sugar, vanilla extract and milk to smooth texture. Drizzle over fritters.
