Pork Chops and Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 5 pork chops
  • 2 packages pork stove top stuffing
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 2 stalks celery
  • pepper
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 cups boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Brown Pork Chops
(While chops are browning, dice carrots, onion and celery.)
Remove chops from pan and melt butter into the pan with the drippings.
Add carrots, onion, and celery and allow to saute.
While sauteing, boil water.
In a large bowl, pour the butter/onion/carrot/celery mixture over the stuffing and add the boiling water.
Shake some pepper over the mix.
Stir thoroughly and let stand for a couple of minutes.
Divide stuffing in half and put about half along the bottom of the pan.
Place your pork chops on top and then put a dollop of stuffing on each chop and the remainder to cover the pan.
Bake at 350 for half an hour.
