Ingredients
- 3 c. butter
- 3 c. brown sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1 T. baking soda
- 6 c. quick cooking oats
- 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cream together butter and brown sugar. Combine flour and baking soda and add to butter mixture. Transfer to a large bowl. Knead in oats.
2. Shape into 1-1/2 inch balls, then roll in granulated sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with glass.
2. Bake at 350 degrees 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
