Ingredients
- 1 lb. hot sausage
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (29 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 can (12 oz.) tomato paste
- 2 T. dried basil
- 1 T. dried oregano
- 1 T. sugar
- 1 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1/2 t. crushed red pepper
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cook sausage, beef, onion, pepper and garlic in skillet over medium heat about 10 minutes. Drain.
2. Spoon meat mixture into 5 quart slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours.
