Ingredients
- 1 3.5 pound boneless ham portion
- 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and halved lengthwise
- 1 large onion, cut into thin wedges
- 1/2 c. packed brown suger
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1/4 c. pineapple juice
- 2 T. butter, melted
- 1 t. crushed red pepper
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place ham in slow cooker (5-6 quarts). Arrange sweet potatotes and onion wedges around ham. Combine brown sugar, honey, pineapple juice, butter and red pepper. Pour over ham and vegetables.
2. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 3.5 to 4 hours.
