Ingredients

  • 1/2

    cup butter

  • 1

    cup sugar

  • 1

    cup flour

  • 1

    tsp. vanilla

  • 1/2

    tsp. salt

  • 4

    beaten eggs

  • 1

    – 16 oz. can chocolate syrup

  • 1/2

    cup chopped pecans

  • MINT FILLING:

  • 1

    box powdered sugar; 3/4 cup butter; 3 T. crème de mintgreen food coloring.

  • FROSTING:

  • 1

    cup semi-sweet chocolate chips; 1/4 cup milk; 6 T. butter

Directions

Cream butter and sugar together. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool. Whip mint filling and spread over cake. Chill until firm and cool. Cool frosting slightly and pour over top of mint filling. Refrigerate.
