Banana Pepper Dip

Ingredients

  • 7-8 Banana Peppers
  • 3 - 8 oz packages of softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup parmesan
  • 1/2 cup shredded asiago
  • seasoned bread crumbs
  • olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Poke holes in banana peppers with fork. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 3 minutes.

Dice cooked peppers and set aside. (remove seeds for a less spicy dish) (use plastic gloves if you have them available)

Mix cheeses together then add peppers to the mix and blend well.

Place in a 8x8 casserole dish.

Brown panko crumbs in oil in frying pan until lightly brown.

Top cheese mixture with crumbs and bake in a 350 oven 20-25 minutes or until mixture starts to bubble.

Serve with small bread rounds or crostini
