Ingredients
- 2 pounds chopped meat
- 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 large onion, cut in half then chop each half and keep separated
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- Dash of garlic powder
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon gravy mix,
- such as Gravy Master
- 1/2 cup hot water

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, mix half of the onions with the chopped meat. Shape into oblong meatballs and in a skillet, fry until brown on both sides. Remove from pan.
In the same pan, fry the remaining onions until slightly brown. Mix gravy mix with hot water. Add to pan; add tomato sauce. Cook 25 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6.
