- 2 Cups Tomato Soup
- 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 Quart Milk
- 1 tsp. Salt
- Dash Pepper
- 2 Tbs. Butter

Preparation
Step 1
Heat tomato juice in a 2 quart saucepan. After juice boils, add baking soda and stir because mixture foams. Remove from heat. Heat milk in a 3 quart saucepan, watching carefully so it does not come to a boil. Add salt, pepper, and butter. Stir tomato mixture into milk and serve immediately with crackers or toast.
